School Photographers in Co. Galway
John McMahon: Registered School Photographer
Offers a school and preschool photography service.
Criminal Record Bureau (CRB), Police Checks etc.
It is not necessary for a photographer to be CRB checked in order to be a school photographer as they are never left alone with children; this fact will be set out in your school or preschool's 'Child Protection Policy' and is also in our Code of Conduct. However, it is up to the individual school whether they need a photographer to have one. Many Councils insist that only CRB checked photographers are used.
Registered members can supply their CRB or Police check to us and we will make the entry in our directory, but their membership level does NOT require they have one. Whether you use them for your school photography is your decision.
Accredited members must hold a CRB not more than three years old.
Registered & Accredited Members
All SPPA members have to adhere to our strict Code of Conduct. After every shoot, your photographer will give you the opportunity to complete a very short feedback form that you can post back to us. This way we can monitor the performance of our members and ensure they continue to provide you, your pupils and their parents with the very best service. Look for the five yellow stars that indicate top feedback.
