WHO WILL BENEFIT BY ATTENDING?
Our annual convention is for professional photographers involved or interested in school and pre-school photography. It's also for suppliers wanting to meet with a highly targeted professional audience.
NEW! TRAINING ROOMS - ALL SESSION FREE OF CHARGE
A number of suppliers will be running FREE 45-minute school photography related training sessions throughout the day in various rooms at the venue. At present, these include:
- Parker Franklin Ltd. - Proofing on the day, name capture, on-line ordering and using customer feedback from their on-line ordering facility to develop better choices.
- Photomart - Considering Events? Turning £1 into £15 in 30 seconds - Part 1
School photographers are in an ideal position to move into event photography. This two-part session will help you expand your business into what can be a lucrative area. The session will give practical about the choice of printers needed for high-quality on-site printing.
- Photomart - Considering Events? Turning £1 into £15 in 30 seconds - Part 2
We’ll look more in-depth at the ins and outs of the various tools that can be used to help make the event photographer’s life easier. From printer selection and software selection, to additional products that can be produced onsite - including wide-area networking for wireless transmission from camera to printer.
- SchoolPhotoPRO Ltd. - Mini school photography workshops that will cover: What to sell and how to price your work, Lighting, workflow, working with pro-labs, business essentials and marketing advice.
- Just Ltd. - Peter Brogden will be running practical workshops entitled 'Safe Sensor Cleaning'' He will show you how to clean your DSLR sensors and therefore reduce maintenance costs. A great powerpoint presentation with lots of hands on opportunity to practice on their cameras.
SUPPLIERS TO OUR INDUSTRY
There will be plenty of suppliers at our event. They will be able to give you some great advice on products and services to help you grow your school photography business.
THE CONVENTION AGENDA
The day will start at 8:45 with tea, coffee and registration and will then continue with the training schedule below. 
DATE
Wednesday, 1st February 2012 for the actual convention but Tuesday, 31st of January from mid-PM for an informal meeting with delegates and suppliers in and around the bar. This will allow you to come and go as you please. Most delegates and suppliers have an evening meal together and stay in the bar chatting until late and stay over.

TO SUMMARISE
Tuesday afternoon onwards
Although a one-day event, it has become traditional for delegates and suppliers to meet at the hotel the day before to have drinks and a meal together, with many staying over for the night. This allows everyone to network with suppliers and other photographers in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Wednesday
The convention will be arranged so that you can mix-and-match events which will allow you attend different training sessions, visit trade stands and demo areas throughout the day. You'll come away with lots of information and new ideas to help you take your business to the next level.
Food and drinks can be purchased throughout the day of the convention from the hotel foyer.
